Election 2024: Dr. Bawumia confident of victory, highlights key achievements at Oforikrom rally

The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed strong confidence in his party’s chances for victory in the December 7 election, emphasizing the impact of NPP policies on Ghanaians’ lives.

Addressing supporters at a rally in Oforikrom, Ashanti Region, Dr. Bawumia underscored transformative NPP-led initiatives like the Free Senior High School policy, which he praised for expanding access to secondary education. He also highlighted social programs aimed at poverty reduction and support for low-income families, which, he argued, reflect the party’s commitment to social welfare.

Dr. Bawumia pointed to flagship policies such as Planting for Food and Jobs, One-District-One-Factory, and digitalisation reforms, asserting these initiatives have strengthened Ghana’s economy, created jobs, and driven growth. He described the NPP’s governance as proactive, focused on sustainable development and national welfare.

“Winning Election 2024 is within our reach,” he told the crowd, expressing confidence in his path to the presidency. He assured supporters that an NPP victory would bring further progress in infrastructure, healthcare, and education, and urged continued support to achieve the party’s vision for Ghana.
