Ghanaian singer Adina Thembi Ndamse has called on the youth to avoid violence during the 2024 elections, highlighting the potential risk to this year’s Christmas celebrations if unrest occurs. She advised Ghanaians to make thoughtful choices when casting their ballots in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections on December 7.
In an interview with Amansan Krakye, Adina urged all voters to be patient and focus on maintaining peace throughout the election period, ensuring that the festive season remains joyful for everyone.
“My advice to everyone is to remember that we will have to live with the consequences of our voting decisions for the next four years. Therefore, we should be careful to make the right choice,” she said.
She further emphasized, “Let’s prioritize the peace that we are known for and resist any attempts to incite violence. If there is unrest after the elections, it could jeopardize our Christmas celebrations.”
