The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced the exhibition of the provisional voters register, starting from August 20 to September 7, 2024. This exercise aims to ensure the accuracy and credibility of the voter’s register for the 2024 general election.

At a press conference held at the EC’s corporate head office in Accra, Dr. Bossman Asare, Deputy Chairman of the EC in charge of Corporate Services, emphasized the importance of verifying the provisional register. He urged all registered voters to participate in the exhibition exercise to confirm their details and make any necessary corrections.

Dr. Asare also clarified that the provisional register has been provided to political parties as required by law and that the exercise is not for new registrations but rather for corrections and verification.
