Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, former Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, has hailed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama as the ideal leader for Ghana’s future.

According to Dr. However, Mahama has exceptional leadership qualities and an impressive background that position him as the best candidate to address the country’s challenges.
He highlighted Mahama’s potential to revive an economy that he said suffered under the rule of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

“Bawumia was a young man during my tenure as governor. Former President Mahama was the Vice President when I was the Minister of Finance. One became president and the other did not. I say that the one who became president has a superior economic record; didn’t you say so?

“So what else do you want me to say?” That’s why we started. A superior economic record was destroyed by the NPP. “Then we have to start all over again,” he said in an interview on Kumasi-based Ultimate FM with Julius Ceasar Anadem.

He pointed out that statistical evidence shows NDC outperforming NPP in economic growth, inflation rates and other critical economic indicators.
