Dr. Senanu Kwesi Djokoto supports southern zone Inter-school festivals competition

Dr. Senanu Kwesi Djokoto, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), has supported the 2025 Southern Zone Inter-School Sports festivals competition with GHC 11,000.00.
The support was to help motivate the young athletes to exhibit their talent in the competition, currently being co-hosted by Ketasco and KetaBusco from Monday, June 23, to Saturday, June 28.
Mr. Jeff Amekuedi, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Keta constituency Chairman, presented the donation on behalf of Dr. Djokoto.
“I hope this would help alleviate the financial challenges the inter-school planning committee have been struggling with and this will motivate students to perform beyond their limits,” he said.
He said that the support would also enable teachers to unearth talent, encourage young athletes to do more, and provide them with the necessary resources to excel in their chosen sports.

“I know despite this support provided by Dr. Djokoto, the organising committee will still face some financial challenges and l am appealing to other old students and philanthropists to assist.”
Mr. Joseph Kwabla Kpatta, the 2025 southern zone inter-school sports planning committee member, who received the donation on behalf of the committee, expressed excitement over the kind gesture exhibited and thanked Dr. Djokoto, the former NDC keta constituency chairman, for the support to promote school sports.
He said the money would be used for the right purposes for the benefit of the schools and the athletes.
The 2025 inter-school sports competition in its 60th year has schools such as Zion college (Zico) Anseco, Afiasec, Voltasco, Anyasco, Ketasco, Aborsco, Atiasec and KetaBusco participating the various disciplines.
