The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has reaffirmed the party’s commitment to transforming Adaklu in the Volta Region. During the third day of his constituency-focused tour, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the NPP’s development philosophy, highlighting numerous infrastructure projects.
Infrastructure Achievements
Dr. Bawumia showcased the NPP’s investments in Adaklu, including:
1. Portable drinking water facilities
2. Youth resort centre and stadium
3. District police command
4. Magistrate court
5. Agenda 111 hospital
Bawumia drew a stark contrast between the NPP’s achievements and the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) 16-year tenure, during which Adaklu saw no significant road development.
“We believe in empowering communities through infrastructure development,” Dr. Bawumia stated. “Our efforts demonstrate our dedication to Adaklu’s progress. We’ve made significant strides, and we’re committed to doing even more.”
Dr. Bawumia’s visit and remarks underscore the NPP’s strategy to showcase its achievements and connect with constituents ahead of the 2024 elections. By highlighting the party’s development record, Bawumia aims to secure Adaklu’s support.
