Dormaa Municipal Assembly commits to improve infrastructure-Director

Mr Nar-ire P David, the Dormaa Central Municipal Coordinating Director says the assembly remains committed to engaging the local communities in the infrastructure development processes.

He said the Assembly had prioritised and remained focused to improve infrastructure development and also empower the youth to live decent and meaningful lives.

“We are working hard to address local concerns, including improving agricultural practices, enhancing infrastructure and empowering the youth,” Mr David stated when speaking at a quiz and debate competitions held at Dormaa-Ahenkro.

The Dormaa office of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) with support from the Municipal Education directorate organised the competitions to commemorate the 68th Independence Anniversary.

Mr David said the government was determined to tackle the deficit in the nation’s physical infrastructure, the high inflation, and the teeming youth unemployment, and stabilise the economy to better the lives of the people.

The Dormaa Senior High School (SHS) won the competition, beating the Salvation Army SHS and received a citation, while each of the contestants received an exercise book.
