DCE appeals to Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association to end Strike   

Mr Isaac Yawson, District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo-Atti-Morkwa,  has made a heartfelt appeal to the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives  Association to end their strike and resume work immediately.

The appeal was made during the Green Ghana Day celebrations at the Twifo-Atti-Morkwa District Hospital, where the District security council joined the hospital staff to plant trees in and around the hospital.

Mr Yawson emphasised the importance of healthcare workers, reminding them that medical emergencies could affect anyone, including their own family members.

He urged the Association to consider the welfare of the community and return to their duties without delay.

He assured the public that the government was holding various consultations to address the grievances of the striking nurses and midwives swiftly.

Mr Yawson, also promised Ghanaians that the situation would be resolved shortly, and therefore advised them to promptly seek medical treatment if unwell.

On the tree planting, he said the district had targeted to plant1000 trees to reclaim lost forests and to beautify the community.
