David Ocloo Makes Move to AS OTR Lomé as Head Coach

AS OTR Lomé have purportedly appointed Former Asante Kotoko assistant coach David Ocloo as their new coach for the upcoming 2024/25 football season.

Ocloo resigned as assistant coach at Kotoko just two weeks ago ahead of the Super-Clash, with the exact reasons yet to be revealed.

However, reports in local media this morning suggest he has joined Togolese first division side AS OTR Lomé, with the club yet to officially announce his intention and contract details still unknown.

He has extensive experience in the Ghanaian game having worked with both Ghanaian giants; Hearts of and Asante Kotoko where he previously served as interim coach and played a major role in the latter’s success in the league in 2022.

The enterprising coach replaces Messan Ametokodo and is expected to use his experience so far in his coaching career to guide the team to success. AS OTR Lomé started the new season with a painful 2-3 defeat at home against ASC Kara and will hope to repair all the cracks and get back on track as soon as possible.
