Care for Society Network International inaugurates ‘Yen Anidaso’ Club of Readers

Care for Society Network International (CfSNI) a non-governmental organisation has inaugurated ‘Yen Anidaso’ Club of Readers (YACoR) at Kyiremfaso M.A Junior High School in the Asante-Mampong municipality to improve on education outcomes in the area.
In addition, the CfSNI donated 200 assorted reading materials and 400 pieces of exercise books and pens to the school and pledged to renovate the school building which was in a deplorable state.
Mrs Anita Ampofoa Amoako-Gyimah, Executive Director, described the inauguration as a seed planted to empower children especially girls to learn, thrive and lead in the much-desired community development and transformation.
She esphasised the critical link between parental involvement in education and success and urged parents to be interested and involved in their children’s education by providing them the necessary needs and logistics to learn.
Nana Akwasi Kuoko Kodua, Chief of Kyiremfaso expressed heartfelt appreciation to Dr Daniel Agyemfour-Agyemang, whose support made the gesture possible, and recognised his commitment to give back to the very community where he began his educational journey.


“Dr Agyemang has shown us what it means to remember one’s roots, he has brought hope to our children through literacy and support for a school he once attended and encouraged others to follow his example by giving back to their communities,” the Chief remarked.
He pledged the community’s’ full support for the project and reminded parents that while teachers will play their part, the responsibility of raising disciplined, literate children lied heavily on them.
Mr Yusif Yakubu, Asante-Mampong Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) applauded CfSNI’s efforts and commended the chiefs and leaders for the keen interest shown in improving outcomes of education.
Care for Society Network International is a development-focused NGO committed to creating hope and building futures through education, girl-child mentorship, health care, and literacy initiatives.
He advised parents to ensure that their wards completed their homeworks and study after school and hoped with the intervention, students in the area would get leverage to improve on their reading habits and improve educational standards in the area.
