Dreams FC player, and a Ghanaian wonder kid who is currently on loan with FC Barcelona, Abdul Aziz Issah, is up for the 2024 CAF Young Player of the Year award after his fantastic performance last season.

The 18-year-old joined FC Barcelona on the final day of the summer transfer window. During Dreams FC’s first CAF Confederation Cup campaign last season, Issah was an exceptional player.

He scored four goals and provided two assists in 10 games, helping Dreams FC to a historic semi-final berth in the competition.

Abdul Aziz Issah also contributed massively to The Black Satellites of Ghana (U20) in winning the 2023 African Games gold medal in the men’s football competition.

Issah was also nominated by CAF as one of the best young players on the continent after finishing top scorer in the CAF Confederation Cup last season by scoring four (4) goals.

Abdul Aziz Issah will be contesting for two (2) awards in the CAF Awards 2024 that will be held in Morocco on December 16; Young Player of the Year and Inter-Club Player of the Year.
