Black Galaxies coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has announced a 32-man squad for the team’s pre-CHAN training camp as they prepare for their crucial 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers against Nigeria.

The camp will begin on Monday, November 25, 2024 at the Ghana Football Centre of Excellence in Prampram. The players will be taken through rigorous training sessions, including tactical drills, fitness sessions and practice matches, to ensure they are well-prepared for the two-legged qualifier against Nigeria in December.

The team will be camped for two weeks, with the first phase running from November 25 to December 5. After this, the camp will take a break for the national elections before resuming on December 8, 2024. The Galaxies will host the first leg of the qualifiers on Saturday 21 December 2024 at a venue to be confirmed, with the return leg scheduled for 27-29 December 2024 in Nigeria.

Ghana had already defeated Nigeria in the qualifiers to qualify for the 2023 CHAN tournament and coach Dramani is hopeful that his team can repeat that success to qualify for the 2025 CHAN, which will be co-hosted by Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda.
