Bisa Kdei blames economic hardships on selfish leadership, urges Ghanaians to vote wisely in 2024 elections

Ghanaian highlife musician and songwriter Bisa Kdei has expressed concern over the current economic crisis in the country, attributing the hardships to the selfishness of leaders and politicians.

The Odo Carpenter hitmaker criticized those in power for failing to prioritize the needs of the masses.

“The people at the top, I don’t know if they don’t think about the masses or if there’s something wrong with the economy itself. But for me, it feels like a ‘one-man chop’ thing. There are so many things we could change if they really cared about the country,” Bisa Kdei lamented.

He also advised Ghanaians to vote wisely in the upcoming elections, expressing frustration with politicians who fail to deliver on their promises.

“Some of the things I hear from politicians are just sad. They make promises, but delivery becomes a problem. Ghanaians should choose wisely,” he urged.

Bisa Kdei’s remarks come as the nation gears up for its general elections on December 7, 2024.

The political race is heating up with major contenders, including NDC flagbearer and former President John Dramani Mahama, Vice President and NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, New Force Movement leader Nana Kwame Bediako, and Movement for Change leader Alan Kyerematen, all vying for the presidency.
