Mr. Bright Asamoah Brefo, the Member of Parliament for the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency, has expressed profound appreciation to Chief Imams and Muslim leaders of Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai for their support and prayers during the 2024 general election.

He noted that their prayers, encouragement and continuous guidance contributed greatly to his victory in the 2024 General Election.

Mr. Brefo, in a media engagement, said the support of the Muslim community was instrumental in ensuring a peaceful, fair and successful electoral process in 2024.

He praised the Chief Imams for their spiritual leadership and their efforts in fostering peace and unity throughout the campaign period, stressing that their contribution remained vital to the stability of the constituency.

The MP reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with the Muslim community in Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai to advance development projects in areas such as education, healthcare, youth empowerment and infrastructure.

He further gave an assurance that their concerns would continue to form a central part of his development agenda.

Mr. Brefo underscored the importance of inclusiveness in leadership, explaining that, “true representation goes beyond politics and requires collaboration with religious and traditional leaders.”

He pledged to deepen his engagement with the Imams to promote harmony and ensure that all communities benefited equitably from ongoing constituency initiatives.

Imams Mohammed Nuhu, Chairman Bibiani Muslim Council, on behalf of the imams, expressed gratitude to the MP for recognising their contributions and for making time to meet them directly.

He assured him of their continued prayers, guidance, and cooperation, while also urging him to remain steadfast in fulfilling his promises to the people and serving them with humility and integrity.
