FC Barcelona have confirmed that defender Iñigo Martínez will be out for the next four weeks.

The centre-back suffered a thigh injury during Barca’s 5-2 win over Real Madrid in Jeddah at the weekend.

The 33-year-old has become something of a mainstay this season under Hansi Flick, having played 18 of the 19 La Liga games so far.

Iñigo Martínez will now miss the games against Valencia and Real Betis, as well as the Champions League games against Atalanta and Benfica.
