FC Barcelona have not given up on their attempt to register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor and for the time being they have succeeded, after finding a legal way.

As reported by El Larguero (via Sport), the Superior Council of Sports (CSD) has given Barcelona the long-awaited preliminary measure, which means they can register Olmo and Victor for now.

However, both players will not be available to face Athletic Club in the semi-final of the Spanish Super Cup on Wednesday, but they could play against Real Madrid or Mallorca in the final on Sunday if Barcelona go through.

This is good news for Barcelona, even if it is only a temporary solution. There is still a lot of work to be done to rectify the situation so that Olmo and Victor will be available for the rest of the season, but it is a good start.
