The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Banda, Emmanuel Akone, has commended President Akufo-Addo for his efforts to improve road networks in the Banda District. Speaking on behalf of the chiefs and people of Banda, Akone expressed gratitude for the district’s share of road improvement machines distributed by the government to all districts, municipalities, and metropolitan assemblies nationwide.

The machines aim to facilitate the construction, reshaping, and upgrading of bad roads in the country. In an interview with the media, Akone stated that the machines will significantly improve the district’s road infrastructure, and work will commence immediately once the machines are fueled. He added that the drivers and operators have completed their training and are ready to begin.

NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Banda, Hon. Joe Danquah, also acknowledged the community’s struggles with bad roads and highlighted the NPP government’s efforts to address this issue. He emphasized that the new machines will aid in constructing and upgrading roads in Banda town and other areas in dire need of repair.
