Baba Yara Stadium Revamped and Ready for Football Action

The Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, Ghana, has completed its renovation works and is now ready to host football events, according to Patieno Adams, Public Relations Officer for the National Sports Authority (NSA) in Kumasi.

In an interview with Akoma FM, Adams confirmed that the stadium has undergone comprehensive renovations and is fully prepared for use. However, the NSA is awaiting official clearance from authorities in Accra before reopening the facility to the public.

The reopening of the Baba Yara Stadium marks a significant milestone for sports enthusiasts in Kumasi, paving the way for the city to host high-profile football matches and other sporting events.

The iconic stadium’s revival will also enable Asante Kotoko, currently playing at Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi, to return to their preferred home ground.

The Baba Yara Stadium’s reopening is eagerly anticipated, promising to revitalize Kumasi’s sports scene and provide a world-class venue for football enthusiasts.
