The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has praised Dr. Bawumia for running a dignified campaign focused on issues. He said, “You assured me of a decent campaign, and I’m pleased you fulfilled that promise. You’ve completed your campaign in all 275 constituencies, and the rest is in God’s hands,” Otumfuo encouraged the Vice President and NPP Presidential Candidate to remain steadfast in God, emphasizing that only God ordains leaders.

Dr. Bawumia visited the Manhyia Palace on Wednesday to express gratitude for Otumfuo’s guidance and encouragement as he wraps up his campaign ahead of Saturday’s elections.

The Asantehene extended blessings to Dr. Bawumia and his running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, advising them to remain united. “I urge you to trust in God’s power. I have already blessed you, and I will bless you again. Stay united and continue to work together.”

Otumfuo also prayed for divine favour and the support of ancestors to guide their path toward success.
