Asante Kotoko Completes Signing of Young Goalkeeper Benjamin Twum

Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of Young Apostles FC goalkeeper Benjamin Twum as their first signing of the second transfer window of the 2024/25 season.

The youngster joins the “Kum Apem” boys on a three-and-a-half-year contract following successful negotiations.
Twum has, in recent years, been recognised for his impressive performances in the Ghana Premier League this season.

Known for his sharp reflexes, excellent positioning and composure beyond his years (19), Twum is set to add youthful energy and promise to the Porcupine Warriors’ goalkeeping department, which already boasts Black Stars goalkeeper Benjamin Asare and Guinean Mohammed Camara.

The lanky goalkeeper played a very important role last season in helping Young Apostles FC secure their first promotion to the Premier League, especially in the qualifiers against Techiman Heroes where his excellent performance in the penalty shootout worked the magic.

Benjamin Twum was an integral member of the Black Satellites team that finished second in the recently concluded WAFU Zone B U-20 Championship where they painfully lost in the final to Nigeria.
