Asante Kotoko, have announced the signing of Sudanese forward AbdoelKarem AbdoelRahman Yoouef Yagoub on a year long deal with an option to make the deal permanent.
The 21-year-old striker joins the Porcupine Warriors from Sudanese Premier League side Hay Alwadi Nyala, where he impressed with his goal-scoring prowess. AbdoelKarem AbdoelRahman’s move to Asante Kotoko is seen as a significant boost to the team’s attack, as they seek to dominate the Ghana Premier League and make a strong impact in continental competitions.
The signing was facilitated by Sudan head coach Kwesi Appiah, who also serves as the technical director of Asante Kotoko. Appiah has been instrumental in identifying and developing young talent in Sudanese football, and his recommendation of AbdoelKarem AbdoelRahman is a testament to the player’s potential. The Striker is rated as one of the talented U23 strikers in Sudanese football and rose through the ranks of AlWadi.
