Veteran Highlife musician Amandzeba Nat Brew has voiced his support for former President John Dramani Mahama, emphasizing the potential he sees in him. In an interview with Okay FM, Amandzeba noted that personal interactions with Mahama reveal his capacity for success, stating, “My heart goes out to John Mahama. I respect him a lot.”

However, Amandzeba acknowledged the obstacles Mahama faces, particularly from political figures more focused on self-interest than national progress. He lamented that such individuals may hinder Mahama’s ability to achieve his goals.

Amandzeba’s comments come as the country prepares for the December 2024 general elections, where Mahama will face multiple opponents, including Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Nana Kwame Bediako, and Alan Kyerematen.
