All projects will be completed, except the National Cathedral – Asiedu Nketiah

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has announced that all uncompleted projects, except the National Cathedral, will be completed if the NDC wins the upcoming elections.

Speaking during a two-day campaign tour in the Sisala constituency of the Upper West Region, Asiedu Nketiah reiterated the party’s decision not to continue the construction of the National Cathedral, a project initiated under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.

Asiedu Nketiah emphasised that most government projects are funded by taxpayers’ money, and abandoning such initiatives would be wasteful and detrimental to communities. He assured supporters that the NDC is committed to completing all uncompleted projects left by the NPP, excluding the National Cathedral.

“It is taxpayers’ money that the government uses to initiate projects. Therefore, whether a project was started by us or another government, it makes no difference.

“Abandoning them to rot only hurts the community. So, when we take office, we will complete all ongoing projects—except the National Cathedral,” he assured.
