Africa-Arab Partnerships Crucial for Sustainable Growth, Says President Akufo-Addo

Speaking at the 50th-anniversary launch of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) and the inauguration of the Arab-Africa financial consortium in Accra, President Akufo-Addo highlighted the importance of investing in human capital, particularly in education and skill development.

The President noted that the challenges facing the world today are multifaceted and require collective efforts to address. He stressed that strengthening partnerships and leveraging shared strengths are crucial to achieving sustainable growth and development. He praised BADEA’s significant contributions to supporting education and training programs across Africa but emphasized that more work needs to be done.

President Akufo-Addo called for concerted efforts to ensure access to quality education for every child in Africa and the Arab world. He stressed the importance of vocational training and higher education in equipping individuals with the necessary skills for the 21st-century economy. He urged leaders to redouble their efforts to ensure that every child has access to quality education and the skills needed to thrive in the economy.
