Coach Kwesi Appiah, the head coach of Sudan’s national team, has reacted to the draw for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers, which paired his team with Ghana, Angola, and Niger in Group F.

In an interview with 3Sports, Coach Appiah expressed his thoughts on the draw, saying, “There are no easy games in football. Any team you meet, you prepare well and make sure you have the right team to try and win the day.”

The experienced coach, who previously led Ghana’s Black Stars, hopes that both Sudan and Ghana will qualify from Group F. “I hope that both teams will qualify from the group. It’s a tough group, but we will prepare well and give it our best shot,” he said.

Coach Appiah also acknowledged that Sudan will face a tough challenge against Ghana, saying, “We will prepare well before taking on the Black Stars.

The coach emphasized that no team should be underestimated in modern football. “Every team in the group has its strengths and weaknesses. We will take each game as it comes and give it our best shot,” he added
