The Takpang-wura, Nana Akwasi Omankuminte II, Paramount chief of Banda in the Krachi Nchumuru District of the Oti Region, has expressed concerns over the poor state of the road network in the area.

This call for improvement came amid challenges faced by residents, including difficulties in transportation, increased dust-related health issues and security concerns due to the neglected state of roads.

The Paramount chief appealed to the central government and Krachi Nchumuru District Assembly to reshape roads linking Borae No.2 to Chinderi, passing through several communities such as Grubi, Akaniem, Banda, Zongo-Macheri and Anyinaman .

Nana Omankuminte appealed to the government to address these challenges to improve the quality of life in the district.

Some residents in an interview with Ghana News Agency, expressed disappointment over the lack of development projects in the area.
