The management of Accra Marriott Hotel will hold its second edition of a wedding fair from October 11 to 12, 2025.
The fair will take place at the hotel’s Nkrumah ballroom, garden and landing space, and designated breakout areas for masterclasses and other activities.
The fair, christened “Marry Me”, will bring together patrons, especially would-be couples, anniversary celebrants, vendors and elite wedding artisans into a shared space of inspiration and connection.
The fair will start from 1000 hours to 1900 hours each day.
Ms Rebekah Obeng, Director of Sales and Marketing, Accra Marriott Hotel, speaking at the launch of the event in Accra, said the fair would be organised by the hotel in partnership with White Chalk International, a leading wedding planning and lifestyle brand.
The fair, she stressed, was an opportunity for the company to showcase its lovely spaces to patrons and people preparing to get married.
She said the maiden edition witnessed a spectacular patronage and met its objective of creating the needed awareness of the fair for its target audience.
Ms Obeng said the fair would provide opportunities for patrons to interact with vendors for real-time experience on wedding programmes and activities.
She said the company had engaged churches to whip up interest for participation, urging all and sundry to join the fair and experience the best.
Ms Adwoa Oduro, PR and Marketing Manager, Accra Marriott Hotel, said the fair would offer a rare opportunity to explore Marriott’s flexible wedding spaces.
It will also engage with the continent’s finest vendors in an atmosphere of elevated taste and thoughtful design.
She said the opening ceremony would begin with a fashion show and interaction with the experts at the fair.
The second day, she stressed, would focus on masterclasses, a fashion show and closing party surprise giveaways from the hotel, such as breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch for 2 and a weekend stay for 2 inclusive of breakfast.
