The government, via various correspondences with the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry and the National Development Planning Commission, has adopted GITFiC’s Agenda 2031, which includes Global Debt Initiative and the AfCFTA Implementation Support Initiatives.
A statement copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra said the creation of a Technical Working Committee, for Mr Selasi Koffi Ackom, CEO of GITFIC to chair was underway.
According to the statement, the committee would be composed of six MDAs and would immediately commence deliberations on the 9th GITFiC of the 2nd Meeting on the Global Debt Initiative and the 1st Meeting on the AfCFTA Tertiary Students Congress in Africa scheduled for October 2025.
