Berekum East MP reconstructs Papaase Bridge

Elder Simon Ampaabeng Kyeremeh, the Member of Parliament for Berekum East constituency in the Bono Region, is reconstructing a wooden bridge on the Berekum-Kotaa road in the Bono Region.
A downpour which hit the municipality collapsed the bridge at Papaase and cut  off many farming communities, leading to a public outcry in the area.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) during an inspection visit, Elder Kyeremeh expressed worry about the bad state of the bridge, which had disconnected many of the communities and impeded the movement of the rural dwellers and economic activities.
He said the reconstruction work was in fulfilment of his Election 2024 promise, and gave the assurance that the project would be completed and handed over to the people soon.
Elder Kyeremeh indicated that the area was a food basket of the Municipality, hence the need to reshape the road and improve the transportation system.
He assured the constituents of his commitment to tackle their emerging development needs.
