A new ball has been unveiled for the next phase of the revamped Champions League.
This is the first time the league’s new format will be played over eight matches instead of the traditional six.
And to mark the changes to the tournament, adidas has now unveiled a “Fired Up” ball that will be used on the seventh and eighth matchdays to be played in January.
The ball has been designed to “reflect the heat of battle as Europe’s top teams battle it out for a place in the knockout stages”.
