Former Asante Kotoko striker Kwame Opoku is very close to joining the club with negotiations now at an advanced stage between the two parties, according to exclusive reports in the local media.
The Striker made his first stint at Porcupine Warriors in 2020, where he joined from Nkoranza Warriors and had a very impressive start in Kumasi.
He scored seven goals in sixteen games in the Ghana Premier League before joining Algerian side USM Algers after the first round where he was also involved in eight goals in mid-season.
However, the lethal striker hasn’t really found his rhythm since then, having also battled injuries at one point in his career and is now fully fit and ready to return to action.
Kwame Opoku has already agreed personal terms and everything with the team “Kum Apem” and will officially sign his contract in December and will go into action in the second phase of the current season, according to reports from journalist Shaban Mohammed.
