Ghanaian actor Kwaku Manu has advised his fellow celebrities to approach political endorsements with caution as the 2024 elections approach. Known for his outspoken views on social issues, Manu raised concerns about potential risks of public endorsements, especially when not handled carefully.
In a message to his peers, he warned, “Many of you are diving too deeply into politics without considering the bigger picture. Some politicians only seek your influence for votes—they don’t actually care about you.”
Manu stressed the importance of measured language, urging celebrities to avoid aggressive or confrontational remarks that could unintentionally harm a party’s image. He noted that the political landscape can change rapidly, and alliances may shift unexpectedly.
The Aggressive Talk host also called on political parties to responsibly manage celebrity endorsements, ensuring that their long-term impact aligns with the party’s goals.
