President Akufo-Addo unveils self-statue in Western Region, urges support for NPP in December election

Revised Article: During a one-day “thank you” tour of Ghana’s Western Region on November 6, President Akufo-Addo unveiled a statue of himself, celebrating his administration’s achievements. Addressing residents, he noted that 80 percent of his promises to Ghanaians had been fulfilled and encouraged them to back Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the December 7 elections to continue NPP policies.

President Akufo-Addo highlighted the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy as his most significant legacy, crediting it with transforming education nationwide.

Western Regional Minister Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah praised the President’s contributions to the region, citing projects like the Effia-Nkwanta Hospital rehabilitation, a Sinohydro three-tier interchange, and the Takoradi Market Circle redevelopment. However, these projects remain unfinished.
