Veteran Ghanaian rapper Pope Skinny has openly expressed his willingness to accept financial support from any politician and endorse their campaign in the upcoming December 7 elections. Following the ban on musicians advertising alcoholic products, Pope Skinny stated he’s prepared to take up offers from political parties willing to compensate him for his support.

“So far, no politician has given me any money, but I’m waiting for the one who will, If, any party brings it, I’ll gladly accept”, he said in an interview

Reflecting on the uniform promises made by major political parties, he added, “When they’re in power, they tend to do the same thing. So, if they offer me something small for my vote, I’ll take it—though if they get there, they know what’s expected.”
