Raphinha to be Offered Contract Extension

Brazilian foward Raphinha Dias, a player who was linked with a move away this summer, has now become an important part of the Barcelona and Hansi Flick’s team.

After playing 14 games played in all competitions for the club this season, Raphinha has registered 10 goals and 9 assists.

After going through a difficult period, during which he even considered leaving the club, the Brazilian winger is now a leader and star player of FC Barcelona. Barca is now considering offering Raphinha a new contract.

The Blaugrana see the value the former Leeds United player brings to the team, not only in terms of performances, but also in attitude, character and leadership.

Thus, the idea of offering Raphinha a new contract is considered in the Catalan club.

The Brazilian’s current contract runs until the summer of 2027, meaning he still has more than two years left on his deal. Therefore, the club is unlikely to be in a hurry, as it is also trying to sign other important players such as Pedri, Gavi and Ronald Araujo, whose contracts expire in 2026.

Raphinha, for his part, is said to be open to signing a new contract with Barcelona and, therefore, when negotiations open for a renewal, things should go well.
