In the latest Coca Cola FIFA rankings, The Black Stars of Ghana have dropped to 73rd in the world. This massive decline is as a result of their bad performances in their recent matches.

Ghana dropped three places in the list, dropping from 70th to 73rd in the latest rankings released recently.

This is due to their average performance in the ongoing 2025 African Cup of Nations qualification as they drew and lost a double header against Sudan in the last international window.

The four-time African champions have slipped in the rankings all year and moved up just four places in June’s edition (from 68th to 64th) after wins over Mali and Central African Republic in the Cup qualifiers FIFA World Cup 2026.

Ghana now needs to win their next few games to move higher up the list. The Black Stars will meet next month to face Angola and Niger in their final two games to complete the qualifying run.
