Prophet William Braham cautions archbishop Salifu Amoako to stay silent on East Legon accident saga

The Head Pastor of Logos Spirit Arena, Prophet William Braham, has urged Archbishop Salifu Amoako to refrain from making further comments regarding the ongoing East Legon accident case involving his son.

Braham expressed his disappointment with remarks made by the archbishop during a church service on October 20, 2024.

Braham emphasized that Archbishop Amoako should have exercised silence during such a sensitive time to prevent his words from being misinterpreted.

“I would plead with the archbishop to refrain from talking about the matter before it’s too late. I saw the video of him saying his son didn’t carry a gun and all that. It made me sad. I don’t know why he even commented,” Braham remarked.

He further criticized the timing of the archbishop’s comments, especially since they came shortly after an apology video.

“It’s one thing to apologize to those you offended, but your actions afterward determine if the apology was sincere. People are now questioning his sincerity because making such statements after apologizing could create the impression that he wasn’t genuine,” Braham added.

Archbishop Salifu Amoako’s 16-year-old son was involved in a tragic accident in East Legon on October 12, 2024, which claimed the lives of two young girls. The collision occurred when his son, driving at high speed, caused another vehicle to catch fire, burning the victims beyond recognition.

Amoako faced public backlash after a video surfaced in which he defended his son, describing the accident as an unfortunate event rather than a deliberate act.
