Adamso Residents Express Disappointment with NPP Government

Residents of Adamso, a community in the Akrofuom Constituency of Ghana’s Ashanti Region, have voiced their deep disappointment with the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) government led by President Akufo Addo and Vice President Bawumia.

During a recent visit by Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, the presidential candidate for the Movement for Change, the youths of Adamso passionately appealed to him to rescue them from the current state of neglect.

The residents listed several pressing concerns that have been neglected by the NPP government, including:

1. Poor lighting, making nighttime navigation hazardous.
2. Lack of employment opportunities, leaving many young people idle.
3. Inadequate healthcare services, exacerbating health issues.
4. Limited mobile network coverage, hindering communication.

The residents vowed to vote against the NPP in the upcoming December 7 polls, citing their dissatisfaction with the government’s performance.

Alan Kyerematen, on his 19-day campaign tour in the Ashanti Region, addressed the residents’ concerns and offered a message of hope. He promised that, if elected, his government would prioritize their needs and work to address the issues plaguing Adamso.

“We understand your struggles, and we are committed to bringing about change,” Kyerematen assured the residents. “Our government will focus on creating jobs, improving infrastructure, and providing quality healthcare and communication services.”

Kyerematen’s visit was met with enthusiasm, as residents saw an opportunity for change and a better future.

The Movement for Change’s campaign tour continues to garner support across the Ashanti Region, with many Ghanaians seeking an alternative to the incumbent government.
