Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, the presidential candidate for the Movement for Change, has urged Ghanaians to reject the two major political parties, NPP and NDC, in the upcoming December 7 polls. He believes that after 32 years of rule, these parties have failed to deliver tangible benefits to the people.
During his 19-day campaign tour in the Ashanti Region, Kyerematen cautioned Ghanaians against the deceitful tactics of the NPP and NDC. He stated, “After I have left, the NPP and NDC will come around to tell you all sorts of lies and give you items, but I tell you, they are liars trying to deceive you.”
Kyerematen’s message was clear: “Let me tell you, if the NPP and NDC come around, tell them that you don’t need them anymore.” He emphasized the importance of not allowing these parties to deceive the people into believing they have their best interests at heart.
The former Trade Minister’s campaign tour aims to visit every community in the Ashanti Region. His message of change and rejection of the status quo has resonated with many, including the Ejisu Manhene, Nana Afrane Okese IV, who endorsed Kyerematen’s candidacy.
As Kyerematen continues his campaign, he remains optimistic about the support he’s receiving from the people. He expressed gratitude to the residents of the Ashanti Region for their overwhelming support, saying, “Your energy and enthusiasm have been nothing short of inspiring”.
