Abronye DC Fires Shot: ‘Mahama Left Smaller Gods, I’ve Returned Them’

Kwame Baffoe Abronye, the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), popularly known as Abronye DC, has launched a blistering attack on former President John Dramani Mahama. Speaking at the Big Walk event in Bantama constituency, Abronye claimed that Mahama left “smaller gods” at the Jubilee House, which he has since returned to him.

Abronye’s statement is a metaphorical jab at Mahama’s alleged lack of progress during his tenure as President. The NPP chairman implied that Mahama’s legacy is insignificant and unremarkable.

Abronye didn’t hold back, emphasizing that the NPP has outperformed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in all sectors. He highlighted the NPP’s achievements in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and economic development.

Abronye encouraged Ghanaians to compare the track records of the two running mates: Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (Napo) for the NPP and Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang for the NDC. Both have served as Education Ministers, making their accomplishments and policies comparable.

Education Background and Policies

– Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (Napo):
– Implemented Free SHS program
– Improved education infrastructure
– Enhanced teacher training

Leadership Approaches and Vision

– Napo’s Approach:
– Improving education access and quality
– Enhancing infrastructure development
– Opoku-Agyemang’s Approach:
– Emphasizing teacher capacity building
– Fostering inclusive education

Abronye’s statements are likely intended to sway public opinion in favor of the NPP. However, it’s essential to critically evaluate the claims and consider multiple perspectives before making informed decisions.

Ghanaians are urged to scrutinize the track records of both parties and make informed decisions based on facts, rather than rhetoric.
