Ghanaian rapper Samuel Adu Frimpong, popularly known as Medikal, has stirred online reactions with a recent post that he later deleted. In the post, Medikal shared that he doesn’t want to be mourned when he dies and expressed his desire for no funeral to be held.

He emphasized the importance of his daughter, Island, and his new wife being cared for in his absence. “When I die, make nobody cry. I’ve already lived life to the fullest! I don’t want any funeral,” Medikal declared.

In a personal request, the rapper specified that 50 percent of his property should be allocated to his new wife and child, while ensuring his close relatives also look after his mother and daughter. “My close ones should make sure Island is good, my mum is good, and my new wife and kid should get 50 percent of whatever I own,” he added.

Medikal’s post has left many wondering about the reason behind his message, though no clear explanation has been provided.

Meanwhile, the rapper has recently confirmed speculations about a new relationship, hinting at an affair with singer Eazzy, a rumour that surfaced after his separation from actress Fella Makafui earlier this year.

In May 2024, reports emerged of Medikal’s split from Fella, with infidelity allegations—including his connection with Eazzy—being cited as a factor. The claims were initially shared on Snapchat by Ghanaian socialite Davon, fueling widespread attention.
