Kelvyn Boy, born Kelvyn Brown, recently shared personal insights during an interview on Hitz FM with Andy Dosty. He revealed that he is now residing in a three-bedroom house he built for himself and his family.
Proud of his achievement, Kelvyn Boy stated, “I built my own house, and that’s where I live with my family.”
The former Burniton Music Group (BMG) artist also disclosed that he owns several properties across Accra but prefers not to flaunt them. “I have other properties in Accra, but I don’t feel the need to show them off. I like to keep things low-key,” he said, emphasizing his humility.
Discussing his daily routine, Kelvyn Boy highlighted his active involvement in his children’s lives. “Every morning, I make sure my kids are well taken care of. I play a very hands-on role in their lives,” he shared, underscoring his dedication to his family.
Reflecting on his career and relationship with his former mentor, Stonebwoy, Kelvyn Boy opened up about his attempts to mend their strained relationship. “I’ve tried to make peace with Stonebwoy, but it hasn’t worked out,” he admitted, acknowledging the ongoing tension between them despite his efforts.
Kelvyn Boy’s relationship with Stonebwoy deteriorated after a series of incidents that culminated in his exit from Burniton Music Group (BMG) in 2019. The fallout reportedly stemmed from accusations that Kelvyn Boy had been ungrateful to Stonebwoy, who had mentored him and contributed to his rise in the music industry.
Rumors further suggested that Kelvyn Boy distanced himself from Stonebwoy in an effort to build his brand, without acknowledging the support of his mentor. Following his departure from BMG, their relationship became more strained, with Stonebwoy publicly confirming that Kelvyn Boy was no longer part of the label.
