Mahama Welcomes 8th Position on Ballot with Enthusiasm

John Dramani Mahama, the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress, is thrilled about securing the 8th position on the ballot paper for Ghana’s 2024 presidential election. He views this placement as a symbol of hope and transformation for the country.

In a Facebook post, Mahama expressed his optimism, stating that the number eight holds a strong message for the NDC as Ghana prepares for the December 7, 2024 polls. “I am excited that we picked No. 8 on the ballot for the upcoming presidential election. Let’s make this a number of hope and change on December 7,” he wrote.

This development follows the Electoral Commission’s balloting exercise held on September 20, 2024, which determined the order of candidates on the ballot paper. Interestingly, Mahama’s National Democratic Congress is one of the 12 parties that successfully filed nomination papers with the Commission.

Other Presidential Candidates:
– Mahamudu Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party
– Alan John Kyerematen of the Movement For Change party
– Nana Kwame Bediako of the New Force movement
– Akua Donkor of the Ghana Freedom Party
– Hassan Ayariga of the All People’s Congress

Ghana’s presidential election is scheduled to take place on December 7, 2024, where voters will elect the president and members of Parliament.
