Jaman North Constituency’s Parliamentary Candidate, Enoch Nyarko, has launched a scathing attack on the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) proposed 24-hour economy, questioning its feasibility and the party’s ability to implement it.
Speaking at a health walk in Asiri, Nyarko argued that the NDC cannot even explain their own economic plan to Ghanaians, let alone implement it. This criticism comes as the NDC’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has been touting the 24-hour economy as a key pillar of his economic vision.
Nyarko also took aim at the incumbent Member of Parliament, Frederick Ahenkwaa, criticizing his poor performance over the past four years. Supporters, however, are rallying behind Nyarko, citing his track record of executing projects and supporting the needy.
District Chief Executive, Solomon Owusu, highlighted the government’s efforts to construct a cashew processing factory, which will create employment opportunities for the youth. He urged constituents to vote for the party to ensure the project’s completion.
