Hon. Theresa Lardi Awuni, Member of Parliament for Okaikwei North constituency, has expressed optimism about her re-election in the 2024 polls. After successfully filing her nomination at the EC Achimota District office, she stated that she is confident the people of Okaikwei North will renew her mandate due to her hard work and dedication to the constituency.

“I’m optimistic that Okaikwei North will renew my mandate because they appreciate the work I’m doing,” she said. “I appreciate the dignity and respect they’ve given me, and I’ve been resilient in fighting for them. They know I’ll never leave them behind.”

Despite facing challenges, Hon. Awuni has embarked on several developmental projects in the constituency, which she believes will contribute to her re-election. She is hopeful that her efforts will be recognized by the people of Okaikwei North, leading to her mandate being renewed in the 2024 elections.
