The Ghana DJ Clinic, scheduled for September 7, 2024, will feature speakers such as Antoine Mensah, Joyce-Sackitey, Kobby Kyei, and other notable figures in the field. The Ghana DJ Awards, the country’s foremost celebration of DJ skill and culture, are thrilled to announce this.

This event promises to be a priceless chance for aspiring DJs and music lovers to learn from some of the most reputable voices in the business.

The Ghana DJ Clinic, this year’s final iteration of the legendary DJ empowerment conference, will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the Accra Tourist Information Centre. It was launched to great success and great attendance in Tamale.

This Smirnoff-powered initiative has been assisting DJs and other creatives reach their career objectives since 2019. The theme of the Accra edition is “Exploring The Business of Entertainment,” and it will include in-depth talks on important subjects like how to maximize your creative returns, how PR can help you become more visible as a creative, what opportunities there are for DJ/artist collaboration, how to promote diversity and inclusion in the creative industry, and how to manage your finances through investments and pension plans.

Joyce Sackitey Ahiadorme, President of Women in Public Relations; Antoine Mensah, Entrepreneur and New Media Consultant; Kobby Kyei, Blogger and Philanthropist; DJ Lord OTB, the current DJ of the Year; and TMSKDJ, the 2023 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards Female DJ of the Year, are among the confirmed speakers. Additional speakers have committed to giving it their all during the event, including Digital Experiences Lead Kobby Spikey, Chartered Banker Patrick Baah Abankwa, and 3 Music TV Host Olele Salvador.

This Accra edition will go even farther into the business side of the creative industry as we continue to build on the success of our Tamale debut. “We want to give DJs and other creatives the tools and resources they need to succeed in this changing environment,” stated event coordinator David Quaye.
