NDC Chairman Slams NPP Over Unfulfilled Teaching Hospital Promise

National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for deceiving the Bono Region with a Teaching Hospital that exists only in name. Speaking at the campaign launch of the Sunyani East NDC, Nketia, also known as General Mosquito, stated that the NPP only erected a signboard claiming to have converted the Regional Hospital in Sunyani into a Teaching Hospital without providing the necessary resources and infrastructure.

He assured the crowd that the next NDC government will ensure the hospital receives the required resources and infrastructure to attain its Teaching Hospital status. Seid Mubarak, NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Sunyani East, pledged to bring more development to the constituency if elected. Former Sports Minister and MP for Odododiodio, Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, promised that the next NDC government will build a modern sports stadium in Sunyani to promote sports in the region.
