Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Running Mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has stated that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) does not deserve votes from the Ashanti Region due to their historical neglect and discriminatory practices. Addressing a rally in Ejura, Dr. Opoku Prempeh highlighted the NDC’s abandonment of projects initiated by former President John Agyekum Kufuor in the region during their previous tenure.

He emphasized that the NDC’s biased distribution of resources makes them unfit to lead Ghana. In contrast, Dr. Opoku Prempeh noted that the NPP has consistently prioritized the Ashanti Region’s development, resulting in significant progress under the current government.

He urged the people of Ashanti to reject the NDC and vote for the NPP in the 2024 elections to ensure continued development and progress. The NPP is confident of retaining power in the 2024 elections, and with rallies like this, they are making their case to the Ghanaian people.
