Speaking at the Gbawe Palace on August 26th, family secretary Mr. Solomon Afutu Quartey emphasized the need to revive traditional values to ensure their continuation for future generations.

Mr. Quartey lamented the decline of respect for elders among youth and stressed the importance of revisiting and upholding African traditions, which instill decency, respect, and good manners. He warned that failure to preserve cultural heritage could lead to wayward behavior among children.

Additionally, Mr. Quartey urged youth to exercise their right to vote peacefully in upcoming elections, emphasizing the importance of protecting Ghana’s democracy. He noted that every government contributes to the country’s development in some way, and encouraged the exchange of ideas through politics.

In conclusion, the Gbawe Kwatei family reiterated their appeal for the preservation and protection of Ghana’s democracy and cultural heritage.
