Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has strongly condemned the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for allegedly scamming Ghanaian workers. He accused the NDC, under former President John Dramani Mahama’s administration, of engaging in fraudulent activities, including withholding salaries from public sector workers.
Dr. Prempeh claimed that some workers were paid only three months’ worth of salary despite working for two years, highlighting the NDC’s exploitation of Ghanaian workers. Addressing a campaign rally at Drobonso in the Ashanti Region, he urged workers to vote for the NPP, promising better services and protection of their rights and interests.
Dr. Prempeh emphasized the NPP’s commitment to prioritizing workers’ welfare, in stark contrast to the NDC’s history of exploiting them. His comments aimed to rally support among workers and highlight the NPP’s dedication to their well-being.
